Types of Yoga

Bhakti Yoga

This yoga is also called the yoga of the mind. It is a positive way of controlling emotions. We go on offering all our works to the Lord. The path of devotion shows the path of acceptance toward all.

Knowledge yoga

  If bhakti yoga is the yoga of the mind, then the yoga of knowledge is considered to be the yoga of the intellect. Walking on this path is considered very difficult. For this path, the exercise of scriptures and the development of the intellect through a medium is considered very important.

Ashtanga yoga

Ashtanga yoga is different from other yogas. Because it is not physical yoga, it is rather a kind of Karma Sadhana. It is believed that whoever perfects this sadhana, understands the real brief description of life. This is the reason why Maharishi Patanjali, the father of Yoga, composed this Yoga Sutra around 200 BC to explain Yoga. Sutras because, just as big questions can be solved easily on the basis of mathematical formulas, in the same way, this Ashtanga Yoga Sutra helps in understanding and solving the whole essence of life.

Vikram yoga

Yoga is very important for physical and mental development. You must know this very well. There are many types of yoga but it is a bit difficult for anyone to do the whole era. In this yoga mode, it is very important to take care of Iyengar Yoga Mudra while doing Yogasanas and Pranayama.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is also known by the other name Laya Yoga. It is influenced by Tantra Vidyas and Shaktism of Hinduism. It awakens the Kundalini energy through regular exercise of pranayama, meditation, yoga asanas, and mantra chanting. We get physical benefits or mental benefits from yoga.
